Just go out and be competitive, play hard, and be in almost every ballgame. Mullen's first few years here are gonna be to prove that we've had good talent all along, and bad leadership not doing what they should with the talent that was here. If he can be competitive and put up points, I think the talent will start to pour in. I think we have alot of talent on the team, but we've had poor team management from Croom and the rest of the staff that was here. I think with our new staff you will never see our offensive or defense quit, like it think they did in a few games this past season. Go out and compete, play tough. Thats it. We dont need 8 wins. 6 would show me enough to believe that we are headed in the right direction no matter who we beat.
We have decent talent on the OL, RB, and on the defensive side of the ball. We have very little talent on campus at Wide receiver and QB. If we win more than 6 games next year, it will be because some freshmen stepped up and the coaches are that much better. I think anything more than 6 and Mullen has done a fantastic job in his first year. I really expect 4-5 wins since it usually takes a year to change an offense as drastically as we are changing. We have the players for 3 yards and a cloud of dust, it is very different from the spread that will be used now.
