Let’s not forget that there is still a player out there who has AD as his idol and may be the best player in the class.
If Wiseman reclassifies and we go into November 6 with a team of:

Green
K. Johnson
Quickley
Herro
Gabriel
SKJ
Richards
Wiseman
Washington or Vanderbilt

Ratface’s “super team” will start the year with a loss. That’s what I’m saying.....

Hope you are correct but everything I’ve read says Wiseman is not reclassifying. Not to mention, I’m extremely gun shy on recruits UK supposedly leads on. It seems to either be false info or we can’t close. Finally, if Penny gets hired anywhere, Wiseman goes with him. Let’s hope Tubby can hang on.

This. This past year UK “led” for Barrett, Zion, and Bol. UK got none of them.

Lot of ifs there.

I've lost confidence in our ability to close on top recruits, which I never thought would happen with Calipari.

Exactly, people shouldn’t ASSUME anything with recruits anymore.

Rumors have been running around that he may just reclassify. Remember Bagley said the same thing just weeks before he enrolled at Duke. It's common practice to deny reclassification.

Green is gone. Richards is gone. Both Washington and Vanderbilt are gone.Whether they should, Nostradamus and my Magic 8 Ball say they are out of here. Why stay?

Green is definetely not gone. May lose Richards or Vanderbilt. But I say 3 of some combination of those 4 will be back and we will be very good next year

Agree, and with Cal not going after EJ Montgomery or Moses Brown maybe he thinks a few are staying as well. Although Brown may be more of a project, but there is something keeping him from these two burger boys.

Nobody ever says they are reclassifying until they complete the process. They don’t want to put themselves out there if they can’t complete the process for any reason.

Wiseman will not benefit one bit by playing another year of HS ball. On the other hand playing college for 2 years might expose some flaws.

Selfishly I want him at UK for 2 years. But he would just go to Duke anyways. And 2 years of him there is an unimaginable horror.

And everyone thought Knox was going elsewhere. Winning the recruiting battle is great but players and coaches still have to preform on the court when it matters

Could we even get him in if he reclassifies? I consider myself a smart guy but I wasn't on track to graduate early. To do so, I would think you have to plan this and take extra courses.

Will not allow myself to believe UK leads for another recruit. Wiseman would be a great addition to this recruiting class and I'm not so sure is isn't going to reclassify. Bagley said the same things about not reclassifying until mid summer this year. The vast majority These kids are going to go as soon as they possibly can. Lord knows we could certainly us him. Not only for big man skills but this administration needs a big win in a big way and tomorrow wouldn't be to soon for it to happen.

Cal better add someone that can help IMMEDIATELY
Montgomery seems to fit that
Cal for some reason didn't go after Ayton & the kid is having a great year
He begged for UK to offer
