Jarique Moore (Fairmont H.S)

Jarique Moore, wideout from Fairmont High School, deserves an all-state selection. He sat 12 quarters this year due to the coaching staff being sportsmanlike towards other teams by not running up the score or keeping starters in and he still had over 1600 yards receiving. He was ranked nationally in the top five several times at the beginning of the season. Congratulations to Shelby's Jayden Borders and East Lincoln's Surratt, though, for having very similar seasons. He sat due to the coaches taking him out because they got up big over most of the teams they played. It is not because he was being selfish or out of control. I worded that the wrong way. Jarique is a great kid and one that most coaches have enjoyed coaching.

You didn't misread it. The way it was originally worded led to the conclusion you drew. It's been edited to state what the poster apparently intended. I appreciate him doing that because I had the same reaction you did.

My question is: Did the association members from all four classifications demonstrate superior knowledge of the all 2015 participants. I too believe Jarique Moore deserved an all-state selection.
