Trey Thompkins had a better year than Hopson. Frankie Sullivan will end up being a better collegian than Hopson as well. He'll get mucho minutes next year for AU with Robertson and Barrett gone.

You have to consider the other weapons on Tennessee's team as well. I admit, it's much easier for me to admit this now that we beat their ***. But Tennessee, like MSU, is going to be sick next season.
but I think you have to cut Hopson a little slack considering that he was playing on a team with Chism, Tyler Smith, and JP Prince this year. I think some of our fans are kidding themselves, acting like he's not really that good.
I hope the guy fails and ends up bagging groceries for a living, but I'll make a bet with anyone who wants it right now that Hopson will make all SEC(1st, 2nd, or 3rd team) next season. Based on his size and ability,I also think he'll get drafted in the NBA higher than any of the other players listed in this thread, but there are too many things that could quickly change that, so I won't put any money on that one.

I just got finished watching the last 6 minutes again. He was credited with 6 for the game. Clearly, he has 2 in the final 6 minutes which rafftery counts as #7 (they go on to say how that total matches yesterday's 7) and then he gets another one the next trip down court...
