Apparently the connection is the Alec Murphy kid that lived in MS for awhile but is currently living in MO that we're recruiting as a RB. They have apparently been good friends for 3-4 years now and share the same "mentor". Some talk of Murphy moving to Starkville for his senior year as well. Guess we will know soon what Jashon thinks about it down here. Would have to think it will come as a bit of a culture shock...

Just think if we land ESPN's #1 croot, what our NSD would be like. Not to mention all the other studs that are and not on board just yet. We might could just bust Ol Bucky and OM's "top crootin class of all time." ranking wise.

True dat. Tho in 247 we had a commit and he kept climbing and climbing the ranks, eventually ending up at #2. But you're right, espn hates us.

I know he wants to play in the SEC. He's good friends with a guy we signed for 2014 out of minnesota...visited here unoffically a few months ago.

Don't think he stays in state and goes to Minnesota, he'll have to like the weather down south better lol

He said in an interview today that MSU is the first SEC school he has been to. Therefore, unless he is lying, for which there would be no reason, he has not visited Arkansas.
