besides hating on every black athlete in America that gets into trouble with the law. Of course, I don't read his articles unless it's linked here. It just seems like to see his approach is tired.

but he's really not like that at all. Still, that's perception, even to me, and I still think he's a good writer. Just maybe overdoing it sometimes.

And if I try to take his perspective on it as a black man, I can sure see how he'd be pissed off when high profile black athletes do stupid **** like that. To pretend that Michael Vick isn't a complete piece of **** simply because he's black is racist.

Yes, he is hating on Michael Vick. But he is also showing the love to Donovan McNabb. I think Whitlock wonders why Vick is so much more loved and idolized in the black community than McNabb. McNabb has stayed out of trouble with the law, been a much better QB, and led his team to playoff success. Vick has done none of that.

but like I said, I only read his articles when linked here and it's when he is writing foul about a black athlete or black culture. Just seemed to be all he writes about. Whitlock is definitely talented.

I think he missed where one of the kids that did it was black and that one of the kids that got the hazzing was white. It wasn't a race thing, it was a stupid thing among stupid kids.

No statements truer than this...............

"And maybe we (black folks) deserve Vick, too. We shower him with undying
loyalty even though his actions undermine our progress."

And I'm focusing on the last sentence.

Even though many of the women are hot and they're all even hotter in those short tennis skirts. Sometimes you even get some good camel toe looks.
