Really enjoyed and appreciated listening to Bilas do the color on three consecutive days. He seems to have picked-up on some of his friend Bill Walton's observations without being as over-the-top or sometimes-scripted as Walton was. (Did we really have the "worst schedule" of any D1 team in the country coming into Maui?)

It was indeed KenPom 365 out of 365.
And at least during the weekend, Rutgers was 364.

This morning, it‘s 309. It will continue to rise as schedules even out.

I have a strong dislike for Bilas, but I have to admit he did a pretty good job as color man for Maui.

I agree. Watching for 3 days you would think SHU is a BigEast team to watch out for. That may or not be true, but ESPN both at the game and in studio treated The Hall like a formidable Program this season.

That was my impression as well.

I thought they both were great, broadcasting 4 games a day for 3 straight days. He was very enthusiastic on Seton Hall

I thought Bilas did very well this week. Beyond simply being complimentary of Seton Hall, I thought he was on top of what we were trying to do. Plus, I've always felt he and Dan Schulman were an excellent team.

These trips also give the ESPN analysts a chance to have some fun like some of the off-court stuff they did with Bilas in Maui and Jimmie Dykes with the dolphins in Atlantis.

Feel like I was watching a different broadcast. Particularly in the last game, Bilas wanted to talk about anything else before the game before him. Especially the jokey schtick.

Our final game was their 6th broadcast in 3 days, championship game was already completed, I thought the broadcast was fine but even if not you got to cut them a little slack.

Agreed. I thought his ACC bias really showed in the NC state game too
