Myself, and a couple others here, tried to remind people that Scheyer was already being doubted before Flagg came along and relieved some pressure. Flagg just made us all forget. This certainly doesn't help Scheyer. This is one of those nasty beats. This is one of those loses that falls squarely on the coach.

I just want to say, the Duke UNC hatred is BS. Kenny was disappointed not elated. When Carolina was coming back on Ole Miss, they showed the crowd and some cheering for UNC had on Duke gear.

Most fans of both teams are wine and cheese crowd.

ESPN pumped Zion and Copper Flagg all season. Both are great players. However, it was an unabashed constant celebration of both on ESPN.

In the end, neither won squat.

Which makes it all the sweeter that they pumped them and the teams up so much. Now it looks like they squandered away 2 of the most talented teams in the last decade because they overhyped them as the greatest players and teams ever.

The big question is Isaiah Evans . Was ranked 13th and was out of the rotation for a lot of the year and only played 3 minutes last night .

This is why I don't understand how they can stack a roster with McDonalds AA's. Scheyer is just like K in that he only plays 6-7 guys significant minutes when it gets into the conference and tournament games.

They smashed through the ACC. They were smashing their NCAA tournament opponents. Houston made the game close, and Duke felt pressure like they haven't felt since December. They weren't ready.

I love it, for decades under ferret face, Puke got every call possible in the tournament and some made up calls that helped keep them in games. Now they fold under the pressure with ferret face 2.0 and their fans are screaming about one call that was the right call.

I'm just curious, did they complain when Cooper stuck out the chicken wing and blatantly hooked the defender on the last shot he choked on?

That is why I laugh when the media and heck even some people on here say that it's the biggest rivalry in college basketball. They only care during the game and then they move on. UK and U of L fans live it 365 days a year not just gameday.

The stupid part of all those Puke fans crying about that call was Houston still came up with the ball, and the way Houston was carving up Puke's defense at the end, I think Houston scores if they wanted.
