and here's the thing, the first game in this win streak, although it was against an awful New Jersey team... it was the first game he got significant minutes in even though he was coming off the bench. After that game, he's been starting since and they've maintained a 6 game winning streak.<div>
</div><div>A couple of reasons this is pretty significant is that the two best players, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire, on the team have pretty much been out this whole time. He's played 2 full games with Amare (New Jersey and Toronto [which was this past game]) and a game and a quarter with Carmelo (New Jersey and Utah). It's practically unheard of to see a guy come out of no where, fill in for the 2 best players on the team and just go on a win streak. I'll admit that the competition they've played in the streak haven't been the best, but it's not like they haven't played good teams. The 3 best teams they've played since the streak have been Utah, Lakers and Minnesota.</div><div>
</div><div>Add to that the fact that he's the first Asian-American to play in the NBA (I believe this is right..), he's humble to the point of Tebow like symptoms and because of his recent standing with NBA teams, he had been living on his brother's couch in his apartment...then you just have something that has to draw people in. The dude can ball.. This last game was really the second I've missed since he's been getting significant minutes (first being New Jersey) and it's always entertaining seeing if he can do it again. He just wins.</div>
