No wonder the guy sucks this year. He doesn't pitch often enough to get a feel for his stuff. He should have been the unquestioned Sunday starter for us this season. That's something else I felt Cohen screwed up this season. Yeah, Whitney isn't great by any stretch, but he does battle and gave us a chance almost every Friday last season. I thought with Routt & Stratton, putting Whitney on Sunday would give us the best rotation we've had in a couple years. But to barely use the guy after Cohen damn near threw his arm off last season is a slap in the face, especially with Whitney being a senior. Makes me wonder if there isn't more to the story.
