And it's usually something you either have or you don't. It's not like you can just decide to change who you are very easily.

And I get we can't pay much for depth, but it's still nice to have when you need it. Maybe he really is just garbage and can't play at this level, but while I get our line was awful, he was apparently still good enough to get playing time as a RS freshman. I would suspect with another year to mature and improve, he'll end up being better depth than we likely will have.
Now did I say that? No I didn’t. Stop being a drama queen. But to think these guys are going to stick around for depth or development is being naive.
We are in a me me era and every one of those guys thinks they can start at any time, any place. It’s only when they get stuck in the portal that they learn the hard way.
Look at the “receiver room”. Just about every one of mighty Chad’s croots that couldn’t get on the field are transferring out. I hope they all show out like JJ Harrell did at Arkansas State this year. Oooopps

Screw that. If you transfer out, you’re dead to me. I don’t wish him bad, but I definitely don’t wish him good.

Ease on down the road and take that midnight train to Georgia , there's no more drama, hey he will survive.
I'm not saying good depth, just depth. He doesn't play if not for injuries . The kid didn't even start for his HS team and only played a fraction of the starter.
