This is obviously using the term decommitt loosely... but 5 very important recruits to this class have either decommitted or are publicly waivering. That's not good.

If we can get that before Morrow comes, that would be good. Need to get some guys like PJ Jones, Mackey, or maybe even Aaron Morris would be good commits to get. I'm not counting on Morris to commit this weekend, but Jones and Mackey would help out. It would also be nice to pull one of the other DE's we have coming. Either Dixon or Sigler.
Something that the other guys (Brassel and Singleton) are receiving. Is that attention, money, extra trips, hostess action? Or all of the above. Most, pretty much all of these four star guys, think they are going to make it to the NFL. Just like every basketball recruit is going to the NBA. I don't think they care near as much about the college they choose as the fans do. Just look at Tyrelle Pryor, he sold items that any fan would cherish for a tattoo.
So what are Brassel and Singleton getting that Morrow is not, and how do we make sure he gets it? That is what it will probably take.

**** prefer him to visit on another date than 17'ing TS if he is indeed still visiting next weekend. I'm still not a fan of that turd laying foot on campus after yesterday. No, I'm not sour, just concerned about a wolf amongst our lambs.

J/k. Morrow has not decommitted that I have seen, nor has TS EVER committed that I have seen. And JP, well he only got the offer bc of trying to get TS. Oh by the way, has NB decommitted yet?? I have not seen it. And I do realize that is more than likely he is going to ole miss. At the least that's only 2 real decommits.
I was using the word decommit very loosely. This stuff does concern me though... We either need to start playing the game everyone else is playing... or start tattle-telling. No in between.</p>
On these trips, they'd be idiots not to take them. I've seen photos from some UGA recruiting visits. Fine *** young tail everywhere, guys with a girl hanging on each arm. One client we had showed us picks of his daughter and three other girls draped over Knowshon Moreno. I was a bit embarrassed for him, but he was excited about it. Partying all weekend, free food, free booze, free tail, god I wish I could go back in time and focus on football!
Here is why we are losing the recruiting battles:
1. We lose two coaches. Other teams use this against us in recruiting, naturally.
2. We name replace a "head coach" receiver coach with a grad assist. It might be a feel-good story for MSU, but the opposition uses it against you.
3. We have HC who thinks HE can win by himself, thus he undervalues his coaches. "You boys get to play for The Coach" is not the winning strategy.
One guy that we really want/need is being told by UM that the MSU coach recruiting him will be at UM soon.

Ok. But remember this. Coaches form a tight circle. They never know where their next job will be. We as fans are not aware in the inner workings. I would be pissed if my boss hired an intern at my same rank and pay. Nutt would hire a MSU coach to piss-off Dan and to get recruits.
Its still a good class. Could it be much better? Yeah, but its still a solid class.

I still read even though I don't care to post here anymore, but it is a bit bothersome to see you always finding ways to call me out even when I'm not participating in the conversation. You know how I am, and I know how you are. But you also know how much I love to 17 with people, always have. Not really doing that anymore though.
