You know pope is in really good situation, Cougars should be good this coming season. The freshman and 8 grade classes are loaded with linemen . They say one freshman linemen is animal in the weight room .

Did I read it right that Robbinsville’s Coach retired also? Would they go after Joey as well? Seems to be a lot of longtime coaches retiring in the mountains this off season?

There were major talks with Robinson when the Pisgah job was open. Had he chosen he would have been the guy but the timing wasn’t right for him. Definitely could see him resurfacing elsewhere due to the look he took at being a Black Bear just one year ago.

Lucas Ford will get it....or he damn sure better get it. Great coach and waited for his turn. Could have had the Swain job but chose to wait.
