I think that's a huge mistake for the Rams not because Fletcher shouldn't go that high, butbecause they need a WR more than anything. But that would be amazing for Fletcher. How great would that be for him to go 6th overall in the NFL Draft. Huge for him and MSU if that were to happen. </p>

St. Louis. Talked to him for a few minutes and he said he was there working out for the Rams. He seemed very optimistic about his draft status with several teams. Hope it all goes great for him!

there is no consensus on the pecking order of the remaining prospects. A lot of people aren't sold on Blackmon; he's only 6'1 and at the number 6 pick, that's not the size you'd like of an elite WR like a Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, or Calvin Johnson that you'd take that high. Malcolm Floyd is viewed as a better WR by some of the talking heads.

He may not be what they need, but a lot of teams draft on value in the first round. And if you don't think Justin Blackmon has the value of a number 6 overall pick, you trade the pick or draft someone who you think deserves to be picked 6th.
