John L. is weak.

Not like we didn't know that already, but when you have a chance to tie LSU in the fourth quarter from the 6" line, you take it. Every time. You take it, specifically when you've had such a season as disappointing as Arkansas. Dummy move.

For the record, I hope Arky loses in the final seconds. Living in Little Rock for a year was nearly unbearable from a sports perspective.

Don't mind the FG call. The punt just now was stupid.

Need two scores to win so I don't mind taking the points early in the fourth. Punting now is risky. What do you have to lose? 5 minutes to go...give it all you got to score.

But here's the thing. Arky's offense isn't going to sustain many long drives against LSU, and the defense is quite awful statistically. Getting a field goal there doesn't help Arkansas much, because the likelyhood of a second red-zone chance is much lower, and to not lose, they have to get a touchdown, if not there, then later.

Point being, the odds of them getting the touchdown on one try from the 6" line is more likely than getting another touchdown later when they've only punched in one all game.

Not going for it on both occasions, I think was dumb. He might as well just drive from the stadium to the airport. They might just put him on a rail and take him to the bus station themselves.

If it were me, I'd have gone for it.

I can just see the thought process of someone taking the points early in the quarter. Nonetheless, I guess if your Arkansas, give the fans the satisfaction of knowing you didn't puss out. Line up and force your way a yard to the end zone and don't punt in no mans land.

Can someone explain to me why Les kicked a field goal to go up 20 - 13. Didn't make sense to me.

So that a touchdown would not automatically win it for Arkansas. Or am I missing something? Not sure why anyone would not kick a field goal to go up by 7 opposed to giving the ball to Arkansas only up by 4.

A touchdown an extra point would still win for Ark.....but, I see your point..a touch down without the extra point would have won when the score was 17 - 13 .

What difference does it make as far as he is concerned or Arkansas...he's history and they are too...this year.

Even Archie recognized it...said so on the CBS show..if he recognized it, it must be true.

The difference is the Razorback fans' mindset.

If they had pulled the upset, the depression in Arkansas would end much more quickly than it will now. There will be a dark cloud over that state's population for some time, which is A-Okay with me. When you know it's your last game, you need to go balls out. If not for yourself, then at least for the fans.

What difference does that make? We don't recruit in Arkansas. Arkansas should migrate back to the Big 12 or whatever it's called.

No it would not.

Is this a serious question on this board right now? Why you would kick the field goal to go up 20 - 13? That is 7 points. I'm hoping you are just drunk.

It has nothing to do with State.

My argument is that a coach needs to fight for his team and the fans, especially when it's his last game and has nothing to lose.
