So johnsburg should just quit based on your flawed logic. Have you seen em play this year or are you making assumptions based on stats and final scores ?
Correct....I've seen both teams play, Hersher has a good WR and a decent QB. Had a good year, unfortunate that the RB/MLB got injured. Johnsburg defense I think is much better. Good secondary, and front 7 is tough. DE/OT has offer to Air Force next year. Hersher does not have a runner like Peete. Either way is irrelevant. They aren't playing each other.

3 and times go film and once in person. 6 times in last two years. And covered both games vs Phillips.
And I watched their defense get torched time and time again in round 2 ...
Yes they have a good secondary. They have a CB with 4 picks in 2 games and are strong at safety. Get over the Manteno game...Johnsburg beat them and ended their season. They had a really good QB and it was a wild first 5 minutes of the second half...Manteno lost just keep that in mind. Phillips hasn't seen a RB like Pete. Johnsburg hasn't seen a front 7 like Phillips yet either. It will be competitive.
And I'm sure that will carry over from one game to the next.
Johnsburg has ran into Phillips the past 2 years averaging over 40 points a game and has been shutout and held to 6 points the past 2 years. The same will happen this Friday. A big difference in the level of these 2 teams. Johnsburg relies on the run, Phillips shuts the run down. Herscher had negative rushing yards Saturday. Peete will be shut down like he has been the past 2 years. Mosby, back after a game off, will run for 300 yards and yet Peete will be the one who gets recognized on the all-state team. Go figure.
Not that it really matters, but Herscher did not have negative rushing yards against Phillips..
The Public League’s 3 stars
1. Jr. RB/MLB Craig Elmore, Phillips. Elmore filled in for star running Kamari Mosby, who is expected back next week, and he was phenomenal. Elmore ran 24 times for 278 yards and two scores. He also played in the middle of a defense that held Herscher (11-1) to 18 yards rushing.
2. Jr. Stuart Tyler, Herscher. The 6-foot-8 wideout finished with 10 catches for 214 yards and three scores.
3. Jr. QB J’Bore Gibbs, Phillips. Gibbs scored two rushing touchdowns, and threw touchdowns to sophomores Fabian McCray and Joe Thompson in the first half.
Someones missing sack yardage
First off, I wasnt aware of 18 being a negative number...
In front of me I have the stats page that will be turned into the IHSA and a copy of the Daily Journal..
Azzarelli 6-40, Koranda 2-4, Jones 11-33... only difference is the stats page has Jones 11-34
Any word on the health of Elmore #36??? He got hit hard a few times, could hardly run in the 4Q... but to his credit he kept playing hard (and taunting lol)
Far as I know Chris is fine. Haven't heard anything otherwise. Has been banged up most of the year. Just the style he plays. Was talking about his brother, the DE/TE
its working by very choppyIs anyone's stream working? Mine is terrible.
