I'll bet on the Skyhawks any day. Especially over Hersher. I was at the game, it wasn't all Phillips mistakes in the game. Johnsburg D played great and tackled well. You can't just compare yards and think that's all that matters. Phillips drove the field and couldn't finish. Johnsburg made plenty of mistakes too, better team won...more organized, capitalized when needed.

You are right, we didn't earn the right and the bracket didnt let it happen, thats the way the IHSA system is set up.. but its not like I am pulling this out of my ***, the poll I saw had Johnsburg at #4 and Herscher #5.. we are junior dominated, hopefully the kids see they have a chance to advance further next year and put the off season work in
Dude it's 4A, teams are spread out. Phillips will be in your bracket always. Don't whine about the brackets, Johnsburg has had to play Phillips 3 years straight.

Wasnt complaining about the bracket at all, just saying it wasnt set up that Herscher and Johnsburg could play before the semi finals.. maybe next year we can play and see who is better..
HHS - if you are as good next year as you are this year, you will beat Johnsburg. How about that for honesty? They lose a ton. Maybe you will be able to sleep better knowing that?

Ok, so my tune has changed... I looked and this appears to be the first ever trophy Johnsburg will get in any sport.. that's kinda cool, good for them
