That’s because his peers don’t give him an ounce of respect, for what ever reason.

I remember a couple of Allstar games ago, when they had Bron and someone else basically picking players simultaneously, school yard style, Jokic was the last pick.

If you, like me, have gotten older and/or just don't pay much attention to the NBA anymore, I encourage you to just pull this up and look at the Records section of his career.

This guy might be playing the best individual stretch of basketball of all time these last 5 years or so. If you like the game, make a point to watch him play when you can. He's on a completely different level of understanding than all but a very few players ever.

When everyone else is playing checkers he’s playing chess. It’s pretty incredible to watch him on a good night.

I followed your suggestion. Pretty unbelievable. This one was my favorite:

“Fastest triple-double in NBA history (14 minutes and 33 seconds)[3] – official Guinness World Record

Dude literally got a triple-double in barely over a quarter. Incredible. And if its a Guinness World Record, it means they’ve got no documented evidence of anyone, at ANY level, doing it faster. That’s mindblowing to consider when you realize he plays at the world’s highest level.
