University needs to sell black LEACH hoodies and give the proceeds to the American Heart Association.

Also, what about all blacks for the bowl game with leach STATE block letters across chest, and that’s it.
Maybe Illinois will let us wear black since technically State is the road team in the bowl game.
I'm down with black uniforms and Jolly Roger helmets for the bowl game. Also good with some Jolly Roger flags displayed in the stadium forever. Not enough to lose track of the fact that we are bulldogs tho. State first.

I just picked up one of these sweatshirts. Looks like it also comes in a hooded sweatshirt or a t-shirt in either maroon or black.
With "CJK5H" on the nameplates on the back of the jerseys
Could put it on the back of the helmet on the padding that wraps the helmet.
This is a good idea if they can have it done on time. If they decide to move forward with the game being played all depending on how things go

Hard to say with the team being in a position like that and what looks like losing their head coach tragically just weeks before the game.
One of those deals where you give them the time the kids need to process and just ask them what they want to do.
Honestly the game is the last thing on my mind right now. Just thinking about coach and his family. Just how terrible this is.
I would imagine this is the reaction for most fans and players at the moment. All we can do is wrap the Leach family and the players in as much love and support as possible.
It'll be emotional for sure, but I think the team will want to play and I think Mike Leach would want the team to play.

Didn't he play Georgia with fewer players than is what is required and we could have forfeited the game? Yeah, he would want it played. He was all about toughness.
Leach would haunt them and their fat little girlfriends for ever if they didn't play the game. And he would remove every chair in the athletic department from the Great Beyond.

Not sure if anyone is interested but I ordered a shirt with that avatar I put up on it. They had tees long sleeves and hoodies. I may go back and order the hoodie just to commemorate the Pirate and bulldog combo

My father coached different high school sports for over 30 years. He, and every other coach I've ever known, would want the players to play the game. He would be very disappointed if the players didn't play.
In my opinion, it would be disrespectful/dishonorable to Coach Leach NOT to play the game.
If I were a player on our football team, I would be chomping at the bit to play this game.
There is only so much they can do with our uniforms on short notice. Patches and decals are about it. I don't know what they do with the uniforms from years past, but I doubt we even have black unis laying around. Maybe Adidas has some available, but they wouldn't have State insignia on them.
Assuming the worst at this point, we would undoubtedly have as much Leach tribute stuff as possible. I bet Illinois would have a decal or something as well.
And Leach would certainly be pissed if anyone thought of canceling the game because of him. I kind of feel sorry for Illinois, because they don't stand a chance.

Now that I think about it, I would love for us to wear plain black jerseys with STATE across the front. No names or anything on the back, just numbers. We could wear white pants, if black pants aren't available.
That almost seems simple enough for Adidas to accomplish, but they would have to find a factory in North America to make them. Maybe one game next year?
