6 stroke lead after the 3rd round today at the Memorial Tournament and was told on the 18th green that he was being forced to withdraw due to a positive covid test. Apparently it takes at least 3 days at a minimum to get test results back since the tournament started on Thursday. I could see this getting ugly. Didn't even tell him in private.

Poor decision by Glenn to start a new thread with this instead of just posting it in the Golf thread. Got to think he's wearing a new serial killed skin tonight and was distracted by his sewing handiwork.

^Terry’s right. If you wanna hold out, fine, but then don’t get mad if some stuff happens.

Agree they should have informed him in private... But that decision goes along with PGA effort to bring DRAMA into the sport of golf.... Already seeing PGA/Twitter make mountains of molehills... Makes it easy for big egos to take the stage. See their personalities...

+ the No. 1 ranking in the world with a win, which looked 95% certain. And he won't be able to play again until Tuesday PM, two days before the US Open starts. But, he showed everyone that no one can tell him what to do.
He can play/practice all he wants by himself before then.

Mother Nature continues to provide. The stupid are self-selecting themselves. Fear/idiocy over not getting one of the safest and most effective vaccines ever created.

So the pre-diabetic looking fat kid that has stupid chiseled into his every feature cost himself dearly. That's how natured devised it. That's what the stupid are supposed to do in the natural order of things. That way smarter less retard looking slimmer people survive and perpetuate the species while the big dumb baby fat covered ogres select themselves out of the species.

He's got a Donald Trump starter kit backyard on him, too:

Sure, but not at the Open venue. Look we can all make our own choices as to whether or not to get vaccinated but he is on the PGA tour which has a whole separate set of rules. Just don't understand the dumb assedness.

I'm surprised PGA doesn't require the vaccine to play. Don't pro team sports require it?

My comment was in regard to being able to play or practice before Tuesday afternoon. I have no idea if the PGA will allow him to practice at the course by himself or not. I was not commenting on whether or not he used good judgement by not being vaccinated.

And let’s talk about how all your fatasses cost me money in healthcare. Why aren’t you in shape and working out daily while eating healthy? I am so you should too. Just sit there behind your keyboard posting stupid takes, eating Doritos and drinking cokes. See how easy it is to judge someone about **** that’s not your business?

Why not let him carry his own bags and finish out? It's not like golf is a team sport. He can easily social distiance.

Maybe people with active flu or tuberculosis should be allowed on the golf course too.

You do understand he can't just walk from his car to the first tee? Right?
He would be on close contact with numerous people possibly infecting them as well.

So if he was positive wed/thurs he played 3 days as “positive” so why aren’t they rapid testing then?
You have to test daily if unvaccinated. His failed rest was from yesterday morning. It came back positive and then they retested that sample and it was positive again.

These vaccines are far from being the safest. Do some research before spewing falsehoods.

no. He was about to enter into a enclosed space with other people. He did it to himself. At this point, if you haven’t been vaccinated, you get what you deserve. He could have avoided this and chose not to.

note: I don’t think anybody should be forced to be vaccinated.

but a couple of points.
A. Don’t expect anything from anybody if you choose to not protect yourself.
B. Just as I don’t want to listen to the douchebags who whine when people don’t wear masks, don’t whine about consequences if you don’t get vaccinated.

Nice try, low T. Do they test asymptomatic people for tuberculosis or flu on the golf course? Otherwise you're full of crap. They are allowed.

All the old fatties and low testosterone middle-aged men are killing health insurance rates for all of us who take care of ourselves. Yet they want to preach to us about taking a vaccine that has zero chance of harming me. The reason I know - I had it and would not have known had I not lost my sense of taste and smell.
