Great, people will think Michigan State must be on the rise.
Well, he is obviously a genius based on what I see here
I have forgotten who it was, but the first person to have us in the top 5 I think in 2014 to me had a good system. He basically said that he wasn't making predictions about who he thought was good but was ranking resumes, and as a result had wild swings the first few weeks of the season.
I don't think we're ultimately a top 25 team, but I think we definitely have a top 25 resume right now. If we're going to have early season rankings before people really know what each team has, I'd rather go ahead and rank resumes knowing it's going to be volatile rather than essentially ranking based on jersey name and coaches the first month of the season.
