Looks like he's been working on his set shot; looked a lot better as far as form than what I saw in clips from last year.
When I was at UK (2 yrs for grad school), the 2nd year UK had this guy sitting out the whole season. He would come to Seaton Center often and shoot around on his own, while I'd be there playing in pickup games. The guy was 6'9 and had the worst 3pt shot, both in form and results (he probably only made 10-20% unguarded). 3 years later, he won a National Championship & over those 3 years he made 40% of his 187 3's. His name, Walter McCarty.

Just a feeling--I bet we don't see him ever suit up in a UK uniform, the reward at the end of season is TOO GREAT for the gift now!

Trust me, I have that concern too. But I think the strength of this draft class may help us, he could slip to 15 if he doesn’t get on the court and remind scouts what he can do. Guess we’ll find out.
NBA doesn't draft doesn't draft on what you did now, they draft on potential

Look, if he can’t play he won’t get drafted. You have no potential if you have a bad knee and don’t play. Sure they draft on potential but the NBA wants to see it after the knee surgery not before

He would slip on the draft boards during the season, then he’d go workout for teams and all of a sudden he’d rise up again. But playing well during the season will no doubt get him drafted higher than good private workouts.
