Likely costing himself a ton of money. Even coming off the injury, he would probably make more in the portal than what he will do in the NBA, and he would have a chance next year to improve his draft stock.

He wouldn’t want to do anything that made any sense now would he?

Where are all the dummies insisting he was injured and couldn't play even in the NCAA tournament? Somehow now cured! Also he said he would always bleed blue but the truth is he was bleeding green. Personally, I wouldn't draft him but that's me. I don't trust guys that run and hide. Meanwhile, Lendeborg clearly injured did everything he could possibly do to play. That's a player I would trust.

I personally think he tried to give it a go and all the same flaws from the year before hadn't been corrected. Still couldn't score outside of a layup or a dunk. Still 30 percent from the free throw line. Agent wisely shut it down before more tape was out there. What stings this time more than Sharpe is the dude "openly" got millions to sit in the stands.

What the hell is "wildcat nation" what AI chatbot wrote this? This guy is up there with Shaedon Sharpe for me. When he's playing in a gym in northern China in 4 years. They better announce him as being from Arizona state.
I was told his situation is far different than Sharpe’s. Supposedly, JQ was ready to play game 1 & Pope held him out for 3 weeks. He begged to play the entire time. He wanted to show NBA teams that he had quickly & fully recovered from his injury & that it wouldn’t be a lingering problem. He & his family were “perplexed by that thinking” & they felt lied to. That’s why he was pissed off & didn’t play. There was no swelling. One of my best friends is CEO of a NIL company & JQ is his client. He said this came directly from JQ & his family. He also said that Sharpe didn’t play bc of a financial advisor in Lexington named Ron Brown. Idk any more details on Sharpe besides that.

So many memory. So many thrill. All those game we watched him wear the blue. The minute when he gave maximum effort. The big time play he made…

(Yes —the use of the singular was intentional.)

But then he'd have to actually play basketball. Can't have that. He just wants to carry a ball around and look committed.
