My brother has a 4' X 8' custom smoker that is built on to a trailer. He is wanting to come to the Tennessee game to partake in some Junction activities. I know the rules on the Gameday website say you can't have a trailer in picnic areas. My questions are:

What are picnic areas?
Is there anywhere we can take this smoker around the junction or campus?

Vick Ballard's parents had one in the parking lot

In front of the volleyball building the last 2years. It was probably 6 feet or so.

Speaking of large smokers, I want to do a whole pig for the ark game. Is there a place that sells big smokers? Or atleast one big enough for half a pig. Would it be easier to make one?

Isn't that a parking pass lot? I just graduated and he's not a State guy so we don't have any credentials.

Also, Gen. Grant, he said it's for sale PM me for details if you want

There's always a few around Dorman near us but they are parked in paved areas so probably not technically in a tailgating or picnic area.

You may be able to rent one big enough to do a pig. I was at BusyLad Rental in Tupelo getting my propane grill tank filled and they had some big *** grills they rent out.

U can't bring one in the junction if it has a axle with wheels. Thats what they told the people next to me last year. I thought it was stupid. My smoker next to them was almost as big.

I don't think we are going to try the Junction. We just need somewhere decently close for his family to experience the junction but also be able to use the smoker. I was thinking SE of the main junction area by Dorman. Or maybe in front of McCarthy. I'll do some recon when I go up there for JSU and probably answer a lot of my questions. I just haven't tailgated in that area and wanted to see y'alls opinion.

Those parking lots are full every year. Unless you buy a parking pass for your trailer, I think you won't make it there.
