I won't lie and say I was there. However, I do remember exactly where I was. I was glued to the radio hanging on Jack's every word. Such a dramatic finish to such a huge, HUGE victory. For years, my barber had a framed copied of the front page of the following Sunday's Clarion Ledger. Everytime, I would walk in there; I would re-read the article. "State 6, Alabama 3" So simple but yet all that was needed to be said. Below was a picture of 3 or 4 State players tackling an Alabama ball carrier. Just awesome.
