bost miss significant playing time in the 2nd half. I sat behind the goal on our side. From where I sat, it looked like he got raked across the eyes or hit in the head midway thru the 2nd half with no foul called. He went out but didnt come back in until the game was pretty much over. I couldn't tell if he was injured. This may have been discussed already, but I haven't read the posts yet.

But Bost was out of control 3 possessions in a row and I was yelling at my wife that I wish Stans would pull him and at that time looked like Stans was pissed and yelled for Beckham.

Beckham is a horrible shooter but it was a nice change to have him in there for 5-6 mins straight and having one guy on the floor looking to pass.

That's the way I saw it too... on the last one before he got pulled he launched an airball ealry in the shot clock and the camera showed stans say something to beckaham, then *poof* Bost was gone for the next several minutes

The clincher was down near the baseline when Bost forced up a weak shot that was either partially blocked or airballed horribly. I saw Stans turn around and point to someone (Beckham). We had Beckham, Benock, and Bailey in with 4 minutes left. Ball game.

4 minutes to go, the game on the line, you put the better players out there. And Bost on an off night is better than Beckham. He's gotta be a confused guy right now- a good PG takes the team on his shoulders and carries them. Stans never benched Jamont for trying to take charge of the game.

I get temporarily benching a guy with 8 min left in the 1st half when he is playing like a tool in order to send a message or teach a lesson, but if there is 5 minutes left and the game is close, call a t.o., settle him down, let him finish the game, and teach him the lesson in a film review on Monday.

doesn't put him back in until a minute left. The game was over then. What? Did he want Bost out there so that he could soak up the loss...or FEEL the loss? He left him on the bench for 5 or so minutes when the game was still on the line. Beckham and bunch were ZERO offensive threat at that point. Pull him out if you need to..coach him up..and get his *** back in there! When the game was on the line, our best players were not on the floor. Bost, in my opinion, will be the best point guard we've had at MSU when his playing career is over. I'm just not sure I understand what kind of signal Stansbury was trying to send. And if I was Bost I wouldn't understand either.

I saw Bost point to his eye and then Stansbury yelled for Beckham. I took it to meant he was having contact issues, but that is purely speculation. That would make sense as to why Bost came back in later, otherwise, why bench him and bring him back in 2 or 3 minutes later?

he was getting completely owned on the defensive end of the court. They were setting up screens to free up their outside shooters, and Bost wasn't able to fight through them. To Bost's defense, Stans never seemed to adjust the team defense to defend the screens either.

Of course, I'm just a layman
