I don't know....If we had kids I think I'd try and work it out for at least 2 years before pulling the plug.

If we didn't have kids it would obviously depend on how much I loved her. More than likely I'd pull the plug within a year with no kids - if not immediately.

Never been in that situation, so can't say for sure. But it's hard to imagine staying with someone who cheated on me.

It would definitely change the relationship, but I would try and work through it, especially with kids involved. Of course this depends whether your spouse is in love with the other person. If that is the case, it is over no matter what.

I did with the first one, but at the time all I had was a lot of debt and a cheating wife. After 28 years with #2, no kids, a couple of really really really nice 401Ks and a portfolio that' s going to allow me to retire soon, I would probably let him move in the house if he would promise to mow the yard occasionally.

I wouldn’t because of my daughter. While it would suck to stay with her after that, I’d be punishing myself more by putting myself in a situation where I couldn’t see my daughter on a daily basis.

my first wife did not have the nerve to seal the deal with the guy she was seeing on the side, so she filed for divorce from me. bounced around 5-6 guys the next half year, most from work. ended up getting her run from there.

as for me, i'm sorry, but if caught in the act, i'd be before a jury of my peers. if not caught in the act, but discovered... yeah, i'd be at an attorney's office on the sly to see how I could ensure appropriate division and custody instead of the state favored gender.
