Got tickets with my company in Atlanta to go sit in the boxes (first time at the dome since 07 SEC tourney--that place is 10x better than is used to be) and funny enough we were sitting in the Chik-Fil-A box with a bunch of big wigs. Over the course of things I kept hearing who is going where, but based on what some of the higher ups guys were saying was (disclaimer: they could just be talking ******** just like everyone else is right now, but this is what I was hearing):<div>
</div><div>1. Peach is drooling over USC (huge alumni base in Atlanta), thats their number 1, I even heard some of my bosses say they wish they could pick whoever and just take UGA</div><div>2. Outback does not want USC (looks like its UF)</div><div>3. Gator does not want us, but if we are there, they will settle.</div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>Looks like its the Gator from what I was over hearing all night. Which sucks, something about the prospect of 40,000 cowbells ringing in the dome that gives me chill bumps.</div>

The word has been that USC didn't want to go to the Outback.

Maybe that *** beat down they took tonight will make them thankful and they will. If they do that we'll end up in the Peach.

I just heard people talking, it could be total BS, but it was a box filled with corporate Chik-Fil-A people (i dont work with CFA, but they are one of our clients) and this was the general consensus from what I was hearing. I would love to go to Gator. I will be verydisappointed, and I am sure everyone will, if we go to Nashville.<div>
</div><div>That being said I think it is awesome that our fan base is pissed about going from Atl/Jacksonville to Nashville, shows that we are on the rise and have big time expectations.</div>

Was it the Chik-Fil-A corporate box or the Chik-Fil-A Bowl corporate box?

There's a big difference. Chik-Fil-A just sponsors the thing, and I would suspect that they have very little, if any, say into who the bowl actually picks.

That we had sold 23,000 to ATL and 16,000 to JAX. This was in response to Mark Schlabach's tweet that "Miss St deserves better bowl, but still comes down to ticket sales."
