My first post was to give congrats for your win over Memphis and wish Yall good luck against AU. My first reply was 17 You. I told my son in law, who is a State Grad and faithful supporter, what the reply was and he informed me what "17" means. If it helps, I attended MSU and had to transfer after 2 yrs. due to serious injuries I sustained in a car wreck. USM was close to my home(south Mississippi) and my father made me transfer so I could be close to the Dr. that was treating me. Otherwise, I may have ended up as Bubba Ray Bulldog. With the initial greeting I recieved from Coach 34 and his "17", maybe I'll stay away from now on, but, just in case it matters to any of you, I have a special place inside for MSU. In fact, my son in law was interviewed on an area tv station last Sat. concerning cow bells and the one he uses now, is my Old One, which they showed on the interview. Good luck the rest of the way.

Read for about a week then start posting so you get a feel for the tone of the board. Read the board rules carefully too so you don't commit any egregious errors.
My guess is the Eagle was interpreted as an Auburn name, not a USM name.

I imagine he saw the "Eagle" and assumed it as a part of "War Eagle." Either way, coach is a douche and, very likely, an LSU fan in disguise. That said, this board is not for the thin skinned. Most posters on here take pride in "breaking in" new comers with unrestrained hostility and sarcasm. Hang in there and ride out the first few waves and things will settle down.

Seeing the PBR under your name brings back alot of memories about MSU. Most of you never know of LenLews, a club up toward West Point, and that's where many a PBR was consumed by me back in the day.
You only have 1 or2 posts. Coach34 has almost 20,000 posts. On an internet message board, one's intelligence is directly related to their post count (at least that is what many think). If Dan Mullen himself signed up hereand told everyone what the first play from scrimmage was going to be, everyone on this board would call him an idiot, especially Coach34.

You really care about the responses from bunch of guys who have nothing better to do but check Mississippi State message boards, honestly, I feel like a total douche that I actually wasted time to read what 98% of people write on this thing - this thread included.
