Just one man's opinion....but can't argue the facts.

I agree with the argument as it pertains to the NFL, one would be ignoring simple statistics without mentioning that there are only a handful of 5 star players every year (maybe 100 combined in all services) while there are more than a thousand 3 star and below. Pretty easy to see how NFL teams can become full of mostly 3 star and below players.
When discussing NSD you should use examples from where it actually matters, college. Using that example, I've found no team full of 3 stars and below who've made it to the National Championship game so I would disagree with his premise that NSD doesn't matter as it pertains to college football.
