"The SEC title game loser can’t fall any lower than the Outback."

Is this fact? How long has this little rule been around? Post 1998 I would assume. Here is the article it came from.

I thought it was SEC Championship Loser couldnt fall past Cap 1
but per SEC statment in the AJC article
http://blogs.ajc.com/uga-sports-blo...ns-not-great-for-sec-championship-game-loser/

"SEC spokesman Charles Bloom confirmed to the AJC Monday that “the loser of the SEC Championship Game has protection not to fall below the Chick-fil-A Bowl in the SEC selection order.”"

Everything out tonight is saying UGA is coming out west to Arlington. I find that interesting as it hasnt happened before and LSU has been said to have sold 20k pre-sell tickets.
But we will see.
