...now we're near-suicidal over losing a couple of players to Bear Tech. Not only that, but the Saints are stinking it up. At least the Dallas Cowboys are undefeated for 2011.

Who are suicidal over losing 1 recruit. Most rational people understand that we aren't going to get them all, and we still have a vastly superior coaching staff to the Bears. Mullen just went 9-4 with a roster full of Croom players - guys we were beating out Troy and Grambling for.

what if we lose out on CJ, Brassell, and Whitehead? It would be upsetting to have a great year and still get killed in recruiting.

This is what I'm talking about. Who says we're going to lose all of those guys? All the doomsday dipshits on this board? And even if we do, so what? We have the better team and vastly better coaching staff. 17 the Bears, we are going to roll them for the 3rd year in a row. And as we are seeing with Fatass Sidney, hype does not equal production many times. I hate recruiting. The Bears have won the recruiting battle for 50 years in a row. They supposedly beat us last year too, and they went 4-8 and we went 9-4 and beat their ***. Just realize that we have a guy that knows what the 17 he's doing and quit worrying.

I quit getting worked up on recruiting after all the hype on lard *** Walker's class. It would be nice to land a few that lived up to the hype but if Mullen keeps whipping the bears on the field and taking us bowling then I can live with whoever he gets to sign. If the winning keeps happening then the bigger recruits will start falling inline.

..I'm also euphoric over the Egg Bowl beatdown. You look at our roster that is deep as hell @ WR, & I could give a **** this guy (whoever he is) cast his lot with the Bad News Bears.

I'm also euphoric over having Prescott signed already, because he is exactly the kind of QB it is going to take for Mullen's offense to work.

I am not so euphoric over basketball, because Rick Stanbury is now a walking, talking lame duck.
