What a roller coaster of emotions. Lost in everything was that without Relf fumbling the ball we most likely win the game. If that game did not make you swell up with pride to be a bulldog I'm not sure what will.

It was the best I've ever felt after a loss. Losing sucked.

But seeing this team flat out BRING IT against another great team and fight tooth & nail through 2 OTs was pretty awesome. It was just great, and in some ways relieving, to see our guys play so well even if it was in a loss.

That was a very entertaining game and it was a lot of fun in the stands. Great atmosphere. And I am like you, it was the best I've felt after loss maybe ever.

We were one Relf fumble (Arky) and one dropped pass (Auburn) away from possibly playing Ohio State in the Sugar bowl. MAYBE would have been a toss-up between us and LSU considering LSU had the head-to-head over us, but Arkansas turned around and beat LSU the next week, so who knows. Just to think we were that close to possibly a top 10 regular season finish AND a possible trip to a BCS game is what is so unbelievable. <div>
</div><div>*EDIT- I didn't consider Auburn not making the BSCNCG, but that doesn't really deaden the point that we were that close to matching our best regular season record in recent history for sure*</div>

goaline and the UPig db got lucky and put his helmet right on the ball was an incredible play by both of those guys. I remember saying to my 10 yr old that you can't fault Vick for the effort because he was giving it everything he had. Wish he had tucked it but if he'd held on and scored the td, that would've been a highlight play of the year.

Well living in AR, it was just another disappointing loss to AR for me. Every year they count State as a win and this year was no different. Sure we played great. The atmosphere was great but again we fall just short in a big game that we could have won. I will always be a State fan but how about beating the SOBs every now and then?

Also, I hope Mullen is at State forever but that play calling at the end of regulation was terrible. Then in the 2nd OT, with no clock and in a 4 down situation, we throw the ball. Damn it!!!!
