I just watched the game again, and thought I would offer a few thoughts.
1) Croom quit on the team with his ******** before halftime. I got even more pissed off watching it this time.
2) If Marcus Washington had gone for the interception on the swing pass instead of attempting a big hit, it could have been a HUGE momentum swing.
3) Elliott's knee injury looked really bad in slow-mo
4) Defense played great with the exception of a few big plays.
5) Dixon does not run near as hard as Charles Scott, but if he did he could be just as good.
6) Ducre''s drop was as big of a momentum killer as Croom's end of half pussification.
7) Playcalling was 100 times better than it has been.
8) I think we are on to something with the pass to the backs out of the shotgun (which probably means we will not see it again)

If we can keep up the intensity that we played with in the second half, we CAN win our next 3 games.

and here is why: Croom was playing to lose by 10 in the LSU game. He will be playing to win the next three games.

When I was watching, it looked like Washington was going after the interception but played the wrong side of the receiver for some stupid *** reason. We were all wondering if he forgot that there was a running back out there trying to catch the ball too. Had he gone to the left of the running back, that could have been a HUGE play.

....Sure pick and the dumbass flags at it like a ***** and leaves the RB free to run 10 yards. It was almost like he was going for the hit then realized he had a chance at a pick and got caught in between. Either way, we had a player there to make a play and he did not. Theme for the season so far.

I thought our defense still has trouble stopping the run - now a lot of that is Scott. But we only stopped them when the either got a penalty or decided to throw the ball on 2nd and 3rd down.

When they just lined up and ran the ball, we couldn't stop them. Our complete lack of pass rush continues to hurt us as well. Even when we sent 5-6 guys we didn't get there.

To me, I don't see our defense as much more than average and clearly not quite as good as last year.
