Both teams looked ugly, was not pretty at all halftime was 2 -0 Shelby.
Both schools must not be working much on Jv.
In Shelbys defense, they lost Qb this week to dislocated thumb...
This is a wild comment for a first game of the year jv game lol. These kids been practicing about three total weeks now. Not sure what you were expecting…
Maybe I'm expecting more then it should be..but KM normally has a good Jv team even at 1st of year...

We had already lost our starting QB in first week of practice and then lost our backup. Then 4 went out in 2nd half and he was having a monster game. That made it for a tough loss last night.

I remember two years ago we lost our qb in the week our jv team played you guys and then lost the only other qb in the first qtr. We had to play out of the Wildcat the rest of the game lol
I believe both will be okay in a few weeks. Kings Mountain’s jv are usually 90% freshmen the past the past 4-5yrs. KM varsity will be starting multiple sophomores and a freshman tonight. Shelby varsity has some young guys playing key roles also who would normally be playing jv.
