They get equal pay in military roles but should not imo. They have lesser physical fitness standards to be able to do the same jobs as men. Why? If you want to do a job then you need to meet the standard set forward that is required in order to do the job. Not against women in the military, just against preferential treatment because of gender. If you meet the required standard then yes, equal pay.

I think they should get equal pay but have a matching standard when considering combat roles. In many military roles physical fitness really isn't that relevant. Take most adminstrative roles and so forth. Shouldn't all people performing those types of jobs get equal pay. What does it matter who runs faster or does more push ups of that is not required of the job?

I hope they would open up the combat roles to women as well if they can meet the stadards the men do.
