Kailo Moore commits to Ole Miss?

Might be the next Anthony Dixon. Next year would be a great time to pull our "once every 4 years South Panola recruit" too, but I think we will have a tough time landing Tony Conner. Regardless, those three guys are absolute studs.
but K Moore is regarded as one of the top RB prospects to ever come out of MS. I've heard different numbers of years, but they range from the best RB in the past 10-30 years out of MS. I know that sounds crazy, but that's just what every expert says. Now the Tupeolo kid may end up being better, but it's not even a question that Moore will challenge Connor for top player in the state next year. His granddad ad uncle played at OM is why he committed so early. And yes I know how many times the experts have been wrong about 5* MS players, but he is suppose to be the real deal. We'll see
I am just saying that if it a given than Moore goes to Ole Miss, we need to land the other top RB in the state.<div>

I still believe that if Norwood and Bush swapped places for their college careers, J-Rock would own a Heisman. but Eason couldn't carry anyone else you mentioned's jock. Deuce, Norwood, and Dixon are the top backs I've seen come out of MS.

Dixon may have had better numbers, but he did it with a running QB and a better OL. Dixon is a bruiser while Norwood is a tremendous athlete. Two different types of backs so there will be different opinions. I'll never forget watching Norwood limp off the field his senior year and carted back to the locker room in the egg bowl. there is no telling what he would have done. And, Moore is more of a Norwood-type back than a Dixon-type back. Hell, I still believe Omar Conner would have been an absolute stud in this system. Croom committed college career homicide on those guys. <div>

If you're going to talk about best backs post sweetness, Marcus Dupree would have to be in the conversation. Especially if you are putting Donte in the conversation.
While I was in the eighth grade and played with David Fair for a week when he was a sr. and to this day they are by far the two best high school rb's I've ever seen in person. I have no doubt that if both had stayed injury free they would have been as good as Payton, or pretty damn close.
What about the Best that Never Was, Marcus Dupree? (ETA: Someone beat me to it.)
You are correct on Conner. He was a spread option QB in a pro style system. Relf would be in the same boat if you gave him David Cutcliffe as a head coach. Brent Schaeffer's career was wasted in much the same way, though his off field issues contributed, he was never in the right offense in college.
The spread option doesn't work for every QB obviously, but it fits a lot of the QBs available in this area better than a pro set.
