If he plays I can’t see it being for more than a 2 minute stretch at a time 2-3 times. Noticeably less mobile than normal this morning IMO. I do believe if we get a lead Pope will sub him in, just don’t get too excited as he isn’t 100% and if I were Pope he wouldn’t play. Just my two cents.

Really makes JQ look even worse. Wish they would not even let him sit on the bench. As soon as season is over he will start working out to get ready for the draft. If I was UK I would not let him work out in UK facilites. Clearly this has been orchestrated by his handlers in order to make certain he did not endanger his status as a first round pick. At the end of the day no different than Sharpe. Makes Pope look bad to for taking him in the first place and for letting him travel with the team.

IIRC Kam’s injury (Jones fracture) is the same
injury as Kerr Kriisa’s last year. If true, then all the rumors about Kriisa sitting out so he could obtain a medical redshirt are well founded.

Think those are more than rumors. He could have returned and helped UK and chose not to.

Really happy Kam is back. He was a big part of the 5 game SEC winning streak and he going down hurt the progress of the team. He being available can only help the team. If the Cats can win tomorrow and get to have another game vs the Gators his 6'8 will help the cause.

He brings energy. Quietly hits a 3, gets a rebound and a steal.

Thought Jelavic contributed again

He potentially takes us from a good team to great.

But you have these defenders who completely overlook all that because he DID play. They refuse to acknowledge what's really going on. If I was Pope I wouldn't let JQ anywhere near the team or its facilities. Like you, I feel the day the season is officially over we'll never heard another damn thing about the guy and he'll be miracously healed up and ready for the draft. I also fully expect him to never come around the program again or even put in a good word about it. His dad sure isn't going to.

Why do I feel like this is just gonna turn into Kam shooting 0-6 from the 3 while he shakes off rust and we lose opening round to a 7-seed?

We’d have to be a 10 seed for that to happen and we are at worst an 8 now and possibly a 6 with a win tomorrow.

I hope not, I def see us being a 6 or 7 against Miami OH for the storyline. I’d love that.

Its just cause our focus is so hit or miss. Not sure if we have yet to out together a complete 40 min game. And thats not good.

Came in for the payday not the playday.
