Any of y'all got any suggestions for great bbq in KC? Got a couple of staff members going out there for a conference, and would like some sugestions.

I have twice eaten at a place in KC called Jax Stacks. It is in a really old historic building of some sort. It is located beside an old train station museum place that should be easy to locate. I thought it was really good. They had something different called "burnt ends" which was different than the same old pulled pork that I always get around here. Very good and they had nice beers on tap. Good luck, makes me hungry thinking about it. I thought it was really good.

^^^yup^^^ best barbecue I've ever had. Wasn't a huge fan of the baked beans though.

Also, don't forget dreamland and rendezvous suck. So does dooeys**

Jack Stack is excellent for ribs. Arthur Bryant's is best known and is good but very basic. If you can find Gates BBQ, they have great brisket and pile it on their sandwiches. Lots of great place to choose from so enjoy.
