We all remember him. He's the college basketball official who was fired by the ACC for going after a W,F. fan. Well he's at it again. Samford coach Scott Padgett questioned some of Hess' calls . Padgett is 6'9" and weighs in around 280. He's still fairly a young man. There is a video out and during a time out Hess wheels and in a fast walk charges Padgett with his team in a huddle. A Samford player sort of escorts Hess out of the huddle while Padgett ask him "are you stepping me?" No word on any action if at all will be taken on Hess. I remember when he was in the ACC he was constantly bringing attention to himself. Don't understand why he still has a job. I tried to post the video but cant. Maybe one of you guys can. The way I found it was just going to Google and put in Padgett/Hess. OFC

I think it translates to: “you wanna fight about it?”
I never heard it before either but it may mean something like "do you want some of me?"OFC
I know Padgett went to Kentucky, but I believe he's of the MJ school of verbalization...ie, 'the ceiling is the roof'.
And I don't like Karl Hess, but Padjett doesn't come off very well in this exchange either.

I'm just happy Hess is not in the ACC . He loved to be noticed. When everyone knows who that official by name it's not good. Just call the game and when it's over get off the court. OFC
I really don’t like Padgett, so I think it’s pretty funny that Padgett trys to act all tough about it when he’s not! Can u imagine if Coach K, Wojo, Hurley, or Collins, Amaker, or Dawkins said that to a ref?! It would be front page news!
