I don't understand why people even give this guy the time of day. Just don't read it and use the extra minutes on something else. I honestly can't believe that people actually pay attention to him. Baffling really.

..........disagree with any of that, I would suggest you down a couple of........hundred shots and call it a night. It's just not really worth giving losers like KB21, Mrob, bama25, etc. the time of day anymore

I remeber him saying that leaning in is "not baseball". I told him neither is looking at three pitches and sitting down.

He didn't respond to that.

I was prepared to come back with neither is leaving your pitcher in three innings too long.

I put him away in Greg Maddux fashion- one pitch, weak ground ball to second, routine out.

That's definitely a concern and should be one for Tyler Russell. Dan may adapt his offense to suit his pure pocket passing skills, but if he does, Tyler will likely be splitting time at QB with a runner just like Chris Leak did when Tim Tebow came on board and even before Tebow with Portis, who is now the starting quarterback at Maryland.</p>

The option play is too big a part of this offense for Dan Mullen to just completely junk it because it doesn't fit Tyler's game.</p>

Another concern is that despite his reputation as a quarterback developer, Dan Mullen's quarterbacks have done jack spit at the NFL level. Tim Tebow is currently a great player, but he might be the least fundamentally sound passer in college football and has no chance of ever playing quarterback in the NFL without having his mechanics completely broken down. With Tyler Russell, we have a young guy that needs work on his release and his footwork. </p>

Tyler may become a good college quarterback under Dan Mullen, but had we hired Al Borges like Coach Croom wanted, Tyler would have become a great college quarterback with NFL ability.</p> </div>

..............game the other night. I feel that if he had watched it, he would have noticed those peculiar option pitches and zone-read plays that Tyler Russell executed several times.

I doubt he will abandon the option, but I also imagine that we won't run Russell as much as UF runs Tebow.

Frankly, it would be Croom-esque for UF to NOT run Tebow and just as Croom-esque for us to use Russell like UF uses Tebow.

I was somewhat surprised by the list of Family Practice Residents at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Half, or close to half, are Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or D.O.'s. The Kansas City D.O. School is one of the best Osteopathic Medicine Schools in the country. Most Osteopathic Medicine Schools are viewed by the health profession as "Class C" or, in Kansas City's case, "Class B" medical schools. For many years they followed their own curriculum's, and were heavily invested in some of the same kinds of spinal adjustment and physical manipulation sciences as Chiropractic Doctors are. I cannot speak for the Pikeville D.O. School Dr. Box attended, but it is likely inferior to most allopathic medical schools (M.D.) in the country and many other Osteopathic Schools. In my experience, I have known both good and bad physicians during a 35 year career as an hospital administrator, and the percentage of bad physicians among the D.O.'s I knew far outweighed that of M.D.'s. While some physicians choose to attend Osteopathic Schools of Medicine, most attend D.O. schools because they weren't admitted to Allopathic (M.D.) schools. The Federal Government, as well as the Osteopathic Medical Schools themselves, have closely aligned their curriculums with the same as those of M.D. Schools. In fact, in California, for example, the curriculums are the same, and an Osteopathic Physician's must pass the same Boards as do M.D.'s.

I am not passing judgement on Dr. Box's skills as a physician. I am merely enlightening the readers to the difference between D.O.'s and M.D.'s. He may be very good, I don't know, but I can attest to the fact that his preparation through Osteopathic Medicine School is not as highly esteemed among healthcare professionals as that of M.D. schools would be.
