No matter how the game winds up tomorrow the sun will come up.Remember how much fun the season was. There are worse things in life than a loss by our beloved Sooners, They have given us so many thrills this year and we have had an absolutely great year.
I will burn my couch down, and thus my house down, if they lose!

It has taken me growing older and the loss of my brother and best friend (6 weeks apart) to make me realize how true this is. Some things that once mattered so much, mean so little now.
All I will add, however, is that at 69 and after 17 seasons of waiting, I'm very ready for another championship.

Totally agree. Great way to put things in perspective.

I think my mood on the most important game day so far is the best it has ever been in a half-century plus as a fan.

That says much to me, but it is just a game, even if it feels like much more.

Babies will be born. People will pass. For some it will be the best or worst day of their lives. But football is what it alway has been: a game, no more or less.

Tomorrow will still be a new day.

Great thoughts, YCN.

I am definitely hoping for a win and think we will get it but it used to send me into a tailspin when we lost.I realize now after getting MUCH older that it is just a game.It took me 55 years to come to this realization, after a cancer diagnosis and many surgeries that this just a small part of life.I am not trying to lessen the excitement but just to enjoy the moment however the game goes. With that being said let's kick Georgia then whoever wins the other game and win our 8th!!!!
