He's right though. No way this video comes in as evidence. Unless you could somehow use it for impeachment, which would surely be a huge stretch.
Are you an attorney? I don't ask to be condescending; I just don't have any interest in debating the rules of evidence with someone who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Johnson86-1 is right that it could only come in if Farese opened the door, which would not only be criminally negligent (by an attorney who knows better) but almost impossible to do since the video doesn't depict Denzel actually engaging in a fight. Even if Denzel testified he's never been in a fight before (which would never happen because his attorney will surely keep him from talking about other incidents), the video wouldn't come in because it doesn't disprove it.

Oh, I see. Because I pointed out that a video of Denzel yelling at someone at the beach will have no impact on the civil suit, this means I don't care whether Denzel is out of control. Because these things are mutually exclusive.

The video was behind Denzel and Bo, so unless someone snuck up behind them, that theory doesn't fly. The video angle would have been completely different. If I had to guess, a group of MSU kids saw Denzel and decided to talk some trash about OM since MSU won the Egg Bowl and Denzel has been talking trash for a year on twitter prior. Add in the fact that Denzel has been in the news a lot lately and he is even more of a target for that type of thing. Switch Bo and Denzel with DT Shackelford and Ben Wait and I'd bet 1M to 1 this wouldn't have happened. But no, it was a MSU mb plot to frame poor Denzel. Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal but the continual refusal to be rational by some is insanely interesting. How do you always say 1 mb and it's posters are insane conspiracy theorist but when a minor incident happens, you say that mb planned and plotted it to make Denzel look bad? Because there is nothing but denial from UM fans that are assigned as the daily Sixpack monitor role. Excuse after excuse when the trend is right in the open. You UM board monitors spend days arguing the merits of a civil suit and deny there is any concern.
No one gives a **** what you legal types think, the arguments you make, or the condescending tone you try to make. Remember the boasting UM fans made last year about how MSU fans wished they were in UM's position? Well hasn't that changed pretty quickly? But as I said before... If you guys aren't worried... I for damn sure am not worried. After all... It's just over zealous cops, exchanges with players and coaches on the sidelines that are taken out of context, substances that are legal in Colorado, and damn lying beating victims that are just trying to give you a bad name.

The general process of this stuff with them is -- it's presented on MSU message board not long after alleged occurrence -- the presenters are called names, it would be in the paper if it happened, etc. Then, months down the line, the story actually breaks as factual. Even the ones that had police reports at the time(Henderson, Marshall and Brassell, Nick) have followed this same pattern.
Denzel Ray is definitely a bullet magnet with that mouth. Interesting how we never heard anything from him till his brother got to Oxpatch. No he is riding his coattails all over the place. I for one hope Nkemdashian the older stays on the team cause this can only get better.
