Good stuff out of Kenny I would say....I would like to see Will Compton say with a straight face that this team has more talent than the 08' team though. Bo did a good job of quickly getting the players to buy in but he also had some pretty talented recruiting classes to work with.
Kenny's still fighting Bo's battles against his doubters in the fanbase. So cool.
Also, that one guy, that one time, directly challenged his boss to fire him after another embarrassing loss, during another embarrassing press conference.
This pro NFL player took a swipe at Husker fans on Twitter and felt the need to ask to come on to a radio host so he could further clarify that taking a shot at those fans is what he meant to say.

The former Nebraska captain had this animus about the anti-Bo fans last year and it hasn't died down.

I understand that Kenny is upset about the losing record. Heck, we all are. But sometimes when you're a person in the public eye, it's just wiser to keep your mouth shut. He's still looked at as a leader by a lot of people in that locker room. Just no need for this nonsense from any ex-players.
Yep but the question I have is, how many times did he tap out during the interview?
I was told last year (by somebody that had reason to know) that KB was not exactly the toughest guy on the team.........I think wussy (or something that sounded like that), was the word he used.

He won't even own up to his own words. And it's not entirely his fault. His coach, and a pathetic section of our fanbase think that is what is acceptable from Huskers. Devaney would run those idiots out so damn fast, it's not even funny.
And this is a great illustration of the program's greatest peril. Scoff all you want at the fan base, call us ridiculous, fair weather, obsessive, destructive, divisive, whatever you like. The football team hasn't been "our" team for some time now. When a majority of fans realize that, and the seats start to empty, then the program truly won't matter. Don't think it will happen? You're deluded. Don't think the fans matter to the survival of the program? Keep your head in the sand. Don't think Kenny and Will's comments continue to harm the program? Keep thinking that, and best of luck to you.

Yeah, I'm really tired of people using that phrase when they clearly have no idea what it means. I want to implement a rule where the media has to say "ok what was the context?" every time that excuse is used. Because when people like Kenny Bell say they were taken out of context, what they really mean is "oh ****, you weren't supposed to see/hear that."
One of the most *****-made players I've ever seen.. Reminds me of RG3 with his backhanded comments and always wanting attention.. If he loves Bo so much don't comment about him when it comes to N.. Just follow YSU..
MOST guys his age down to puberty are idiots. In fact some of us are idiots well in to old age. Its just that MOST of us don't get on social media and blurt out every random thought that comes in to our brain. Kenny is a talented guy that is just all over the place with his thoughts and he would probably be better off just staying off social media.
