This team will not beat really good teams or win consistently with that awful defense they play. They simply can't get stops when needed and make every game a chore to try to win.

Defense should be the thing a team has the most control over as you will miss shots on some nights. Yet Paynes defense usually makes the other team have career highs against the Cards.

Was watching individual defensive stances. No consistency. I guess players decide on their own. Clark always had right foot up, left foot back. Invite for any right handed drive as he is one and a half steps away. Hips are out of place especially thebigs. A lot of one arm swings at the ball.
