There is a group on facebook that is advising everyone to wear black for the kentucky game. I hadn't seen it advertised by the school yet, so is it some random guy's idea or is the school going to get behind this? I hope it is more successful tan the "white" out

I like the idea and I am pretty sure it will work. Unlike LSU, the stands will be completely full.
Of course, you still have those idiots that wear green shirts to the game. No excuses, everybody owns something black.

Or are they having them laid out for each section? This will probably be our best option since we checkerboard just about every maroon out/ white out as it is.
Texaco has sponsored the Kentucky vs Mississippi State game and the University and the Student Association will be putting maroon or white shirts in every seat in the Hump. Students and fans are encouraged to "Come Early, Be Loud, Make a STATEment!" A facebook group for this will go up tomorrow and you will be able to find out more information.

That morning started off the worse way possible. Nearly flooding it was raining so hard. But I remember sitting through that game hungover and without a care in the world for watching a good game. Tyson Lee throwing a pick 6 to open the game reinforced how dumb I felt for being there. But it was something special seeing us continue to come right back down the field and score then the rain finally let up. And watching the stadium change from a rainbow colored poncho situation into a white out was badass.
