On the 1st 2 or 3 punts by KY, the punt return unit went for the block. Dang near got both of them.
We still need to eliminate the mishandled punts, and having Tubby back at full speed will help a lot.

Placekicking, Sobiesk seems to have gained some confidence, especially within 30 yards. I think Dan needs to give him a shot on 30-40 range kicks, and let the freshman try the loner ones. Still, I'll be happy if we just go ahead and get TD's.

All in all, Special teams have improved since last year. what sayeth the Pack?

Our kick offs were excellent. Several times the ball was so high we were on top of the returner when he caught it and dropped him inside the 20.

Tubby lost punt return duty before he got hurt. Graham is a better returner... when he catches it.

He'll get better.
