I don’t know but Robert Morris played some professional ball in China. Does that count for half credit?
Don't you mean "Randolph"???

Sorry couldn't resist. 😁 😁 😁

With all of the talk about the kid from "Robert Morris", it's an obvious mistake to make.

Hope we get him AND this Lee kid. Then maybe things will settle down here.(Not a chance, it would just be on to the next anticipated tragedy).;);)

One of the more surprising things about Kentucky basketball in the last year was Randolph Morris getting off the bus when Pope was introduced in Rupp and then being at some games this year. When he was here no one thought he cared about Kentucky at all.

The funny thing is he still has that same unaffected look on his face even when he’s on the dance cam.

I used to see Randolp all over the area of town I live in (Lex), and he had that same look every time I saw him.

Is this kid SEC worthy? Playing in the Ivy League and playing in the SEC is quite a big difference. He's going to be facing the best athletes in the country.
to me he does..... has a nice first step to the basket..if a big man gets stuck on him in a switch, its going to be a prob for the defender..... stats look pretty good.... is kinda skinny tho

guess this guy is out now that the Pittsburg kid committed
I don’t believe so. The reports were that the staff was selling (whichever guard they met w in Dallas..) on playing alongside Lowe….and that was pre official love news last week. Just based on that sells pitch now that the Lowe news is official, I’d assume they’d take 1 more PG/CG

Acaden can also play some SG, he’s somewhat of a CG so that could be the vision here. Just have a few different options in case of injury and just to be able to switch it up.

I'm not buying this until I see more corroborating reports.

Probably just using us to run his NIL up.

If Pope is still going after him hard then I'm impressed.

I’d be shocked if he commits here after Lowe already commited .

If he did it would be interesting because I always figured Jasper Johnson would start .

Pope loves his analytics and the way he likes his shooters to play, he looks closely at a players spot up 3 percentages. I remember him talking about how that made him covet Butler last year.

I’m not smart enough to figure all that out, but I wonder if Lee’s “spot up 3” percentage is off the charts?

Having two guys in the backcourt that can handle the ball and get into the lane but can also knock down the open 3, is probably something he would desire in his offense.

I’m just speculating, though.

Just pay the bag for the other more athletic shooters. We learned Brea couldnt get good looks vs athletic teams and this kid has Brea athleticism .

Hopefully we will be good enough next year where Jasper Johnson doesn't even have to start.

Bring him off the bench like Pitino did Mercer. Then bring him back for a sophomore season where he can dominate and become a potential all-american.

I would love to see UK with a player that can create their own shots. Is any of these guys we got coming in can do this ?

According to the highlight video of his, he's 64th percentile with spot up scoring. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about.

He's an excellent cutter, passer, and is in the 70th+ percentile in both scoring off ball screens and off the dribble. Maybe Pope wants a really damn good cutter on this team. That's a huge part of the offense, after all.
