UK may have the top 2 picks on the same team. Hell, Patterson is pretty damn good and he's hugely overshadowed on their team this year.
They might could even get all 3 in the Top 5 depending on who gets where in the lottery. Gonna take everything we've got to be in that game. Interested to see how Stansbury decides to play Cousins and Patterson. I'm guessing he lets Phil guard Cousins for most of the game, just like he guarded Pondexter in the NCAA Tournament last year. Gotta love those guard against power forward matchups.
in my dream world, Sid would get cleared and we are able to match up Sid on Cousins and JV on PP. I wouldn't have a problem with Dee or Barry matching up against either Bledsoe or Wall, since no one is stopping Wall the best you can hope for is to slow him down and take away any help.

while I am glad those two wont be at Kentucky but one season, it does make it tough on Calipari- as talented as they are, they are still true Freshmen and its going to be tough on him come Eilte 8 and later to win crucial games...then you have to refill those same 2 spots again next year
The game was never really that close, nor did we ever have a chance. We made a few runs, but even when we cut it to 3 a couple times, I knew we weren't going to win.
We did the right thing though and packed the zone all night. It was our only chance, and it let us hang around.
Varnado better come ready to play when you face Kentucky, because that game is going to be a big time money game for him. If he plays well against Cousins and/or Patterson in one on one sets, he'll make himself a lot of money and move up the draft boards. If Cousins and Patterson knock him around and score all over him, his draft stock will drop like a rock. Either way, it's going to be his biggest stage to try to show where he deserves to go in the draft.
