The game was never really that close, nor did we ever have a chance. We made a few runs, but even when we cut it to 3 a couple times, I knew we weren't going to win.
We did the right thing though and packed the zone all night. It was our only chance, and it let us hang around.
Varnado better come ready to play when you face Kentucky, because that game is going to be a big time money game for him. If he plays well against Cousins and/or Patterson in one on one sets, he'll make himself a lot of money and move up the draft boards. If Cousins and Patterson knock him around and score all over him, his draft stock will drop like a rock. Either way, it's going to be his biggest stage to try to show where he deserves to go in the draft.
